Southern Souls Animal League operates to serve Barbour County Alabama and the surrounding areas. The primary focus is to reduce the euthanasia rate in area shelters, by in-taking, vetting, and adopting animals. Assisting communities without animal control with a place for unwanted pets to go.

As well as providing outreach services with the goal of keeping pets in their home.By offering alternatives to shelter intake with spay and neuter assistance, food, and other services to the members of our community.
